How Does the Game Work?

The S&OP Game is designed as a multi-stage simulation:

  • Teams of four represent key roles such as Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Demand Planning
  • Each stage introduces new collaboration dynamics and builds on the experience gained in previous rounds
  • Decisions are made in real time and performance feedback is provided immediately
  • Teams compete based on KPIs such as gross profit margin, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and return on capital employed (ROCE).
  • At the end of the final round, the team with the highest overall performance wins. However, the real gain is the shared perspective and collaboration developed throughout the process.
