Sports nutrition brand NXT Level has launched a supply chain transformation initiative to streamline its operation. By adopting Slimstock’s advanced supply chain planning platform, the nutrition supplement specialist will ensure fully joined-up planning as it pursues its ambitious growth strategy.

NXT Level is part of the European gym chain Basic-Fit and has more than 1,500 gyms spread throughout six European countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany and Spain. NXT Level meets diverse customer needs with sports nutrition products designed to support a healthy lifestyle for everyone, regardless of fitness level.  Their extensive product range, which includes shakes, drinks, supplements, and proteins, is available at all Basic-Fit locations, as well as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and their e-commerce store.

Optimised forecasting

Committed to pushing the boundaries in sports nutrition, NXT Level maintain a tight grip on its inventory and supply chain processes to support continuous innovation. When orders are delivered, products must have a minimum shelf life of six months. Consequently, without effective inventory management, the risk of waste is high.

Slimstock’s platform will play a pivotal role in avoiding this, providing NXT Level with data-driven insights. By providing the planning team with robust demand forecasts, Slimstock will help NXT level to optimise purchase orders, safeguarding service levels whilst minimising the risk of excess and stock outs.

Dennis Fransz, Head of NXT Level, is looking forward to working with Slimstock: “With the huge growth we are experiencing, it is more important than ever to unlock greater insight into our product assortment. By working with Slimstock, we will set the right foundation to conquer multiple countries with our fantastic range of sports nutrition products.”
