Supply chain improvements
As MACOM continues to expand, enhancing inventory management to improve service levels has become a key priority. After exploring the market, MACOM decided to implement Slimstock’s supply chain planning platform, Slim4, to get a grip on repetitive manual tasks and enhance visibility throughout the wide business.
One of the primary goals of the project is to set Slim4 supply classification tool to streamline replenishment and optimise decision-making across its operations. “By partnering with Slimstock, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional service and efficiency to our customers. This collaboration will allow us to reduce workload, enhance coordination between departments, and take a major step towards a fully digitalised supply chain with S&OE and S&OP,” said a MACOM representative.
Looking ahead, MACOM is also preparing to implement a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to further strengthen its logistics operations.
