CleanLease, a specialist in the rental and cleaning of high-quality workwear and textiles, will focus on improving the product lifecycle of its own textiles. To reinforce this objective, CleanLease is joining forces with Slimstock. As a reliable and committed partner, the textile services provider wants to provide a high-quality service and to achieve this, CleanLease now opts for Slimstock’s supply chain platform Slim4. The main objectives of the project are, enhance service levels with a strong focus on continuous improvement, cost optimisation throughout the chain and reducing its carbon footprint.
Challenges in a dynamic sector
In a sector where reliability and hygiene are crucial, CleanLease has been providing clean and hygienic workwear to thousands of healthcare professionals every day for more than a century. Its customer base includes hospitals, healthcare institutions and holiday parks, both in the Netherlands and Belgium. Behind the daily operation is a complex logistical challenge and to optimise that process and make it sustainable, support from Slim4 is essential.
Slim4 provides grip and insight
The award-winning platform clearly maps supply chain processes, giving CleanLease more control over the product lifecycle thanks to workflow-driven exception management. After all, each contract has a fixed term, which requires precise matching of the clothing inventory. This also has to take into account availability of less common sizes such as XS or XXL. With expiring contract periods, the timely running down of clothing stocks is necessary and without the right overview in the product lifecycle, a risk of excess and obsolete stock quickly arises. This puts pressure on both efficiency and sustainability.
By proactively identifying exceptional stock behaviour, Slim4 helps CleanLease make informed decisions in a timely manner. From initial stock accumulation to timely phasing out of textiles. It results in a more sustainable process, serving customers even better without unnecessary costs.
