Job Summary:

The Academy Content Creation Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and organizing educational content for our Academy. This role involves gathering information from experienced colleagues, translating knowledge into storylines and presentations, and supporting the creation of exercises and learning journeys. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain, strong communication skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Academy Content Creation: Assist in gathering information from experienced colleagues to create educational content.
  • Information Gathering: Request specific knowledge from colleagues, such as recorded videos from experts.
  • Documentation: Gather and document information in a way that is accessible and useful for others.
  • Content Requests: Fulfill requests from Academy/Talent Development HQ.
  • Translation to Storyline: Convert received information into coherent storylines.
  • Storyline Development: Transfer gathered knowledge into engaging and informative storylines.
  • Review Process: Collaborate with topic specialists and the Academy team to review and refine storylines.
  • Recording Preparation: Ensure storylines are ready for recording by trained trainers.
  • Translation to PowerPoint: Create visual presentations to support the storylines.
  • Visual Support: Develop PowerPoint presentations that effectively convey the storyline.
  • Idea Conversion: Transform ideas and examples from experts into polished PowerPoint slides.
  • Exercise Creation: Develop exercises and questions based on the received knowledge.
  • Question Development: Create a first set of questions and exercises from the gathered information.
  • Review Exercises: Discuss and refine exercises with experts for accuracy and trainers for didactic quality.
  • Knowledge Platform Setup: Support the setup of learning journeys in the knowledge platform.
  • Platform Setup: Assist in creating summaries and objectives for courses on SharePoint or other platforms.
  • Learning Journey: Organize and structure the learning journey effectively.
  • Project Management: Ensure projects are completed from start to finish despite shifting priorities.
  • Focus Management: Maintain focus on one topic and see it through to completion.
  • Process Overview: Keep track of project progress and milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently communicate with experts worldwide to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and involve stakeholders effectively throughout the project.

  • Supply Chain Background: Understanding the basics of supply chain concepts to process expert information accurately.
  • Confident Communication: Comfortable talking to experts across Slimstock and requesting tasks or favors.
  • Project Management: Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-Sufficient: Ability to work independently with people from around the world and report to HQ.
  • PowerPoint Proficiency: Ability to translate stories into visually appealing and informative PowerPoint presentations.
  • Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in content creation, project management, or a related role.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
