Are you approaching the final stages of your Masters in Supply Chain Management, Operational Management or Economics? Do you have boundless ambition? If so, you are the perfect candidate for Slimstock’s Top Talent Program!
With opportunities throughout the year, you will join 6-10 recent graduates on a fast-track career programme. The Top Talent Program will develop your knowledge and personal skills as you become a specialist within our supply chain consultancy, sales or development teams. Throughout the programme, you will receive extensive personal coaching and mentoring from our industry experts.
Year 1
In your first year of the Top Talent Programme, you will focus is three key pillars: practical experience, personal development, and projects. This allows you to gain the knowledge and experience that lay the foundation for your career within Slimstock.
Your journey will begin within our commercial team where you play a crucial role in active customer & prospect projects. During your first year at Slimstock, your team will help you explore your strengths to determine the best career path for you.
Practical Experience
You will work alongside either a senior consultant, (pre)sales consultant, a developer or our support team. You will start by shadowing a consultant before playing an increasingly active role with increasing responsibilities.
The duration and scope of ongoing projects, as well as your interests, will determine how long you spend with each colleague.
Internal training
You will develop an intimate knowledge of our supply chain optimisation platform, Slim4. You will learn all the ins & outs of our solution and in no time, you will be able to use it like a pro.
During the training, you will complete a range of exercises. You will gain exposure to all of Slim4’s features and functionalities as you learn the mechanics of our customer implementation process.
You will also take part in Slimstock’s Academy sessions to enrich your knowledge about the supply chain environment.
Personal Development
In addition to gaining practical experience, it is important to take time for self-study. During the self-study hours, you will have the opportunity to process your acquired knowledge and dive deeper into the subject matter. There are many colleagues and documents on hand to help you with this!
Year 2
After completing your first year of the Top Talent Program, you will focus on your specialisation. Based on the knowledge you have acquired and your experience at Slimstock so far, you will determine the direction of your career at Slimstock. Your development path could encompass consultancy, development, or sales.
Specialist training
Regardless of the path you choose, building product knowledge and engaging in customer implementations will remain a key part of your role at Slimstock.
During the second year, you will continue to receive both product and subject-related training. Your personal development is extremely important. For this reason, we will work with you to ensure your training enriches your talents and supports you in achieving your career goals.
In addition, you will also support our clients with interim assignments. This will allow you to gain invaluable experience as a Slim4 user. Depending on your specialisation, you may also play a professional role within the Slimstock Academy.
