Following the growth we have experienced in recent years across Europe and the Americas, we are now officially recognized by the renowned analyst firm Gartner. In their famous Magic Quadrant research, in which they compare supply chain planning software vendors, Slimstock is recognized as a vendor that offers an above-average level of customer satisfaction.

It’s good to see that our focus on realizing supply chain improvements within our customer’s organizations is noted by the analysts at Gartner.

As part of the Gartner research, Slimstock were identified as a “challenger” and I think that is exactly what we are. We’re a rapidly growing company in the field of inventory optimisation and we really like to challenge our competitors.

Focus on inventory

Gartner is best known for its high-end research focusing on vendors and systems for supply chain management as well as for other business software. As a major source of information for IT leaders and other decision makers around the globe, it is important for us to be on their list.

In the Magic Quadrant, we are positioned and compared to competitors on the basis of two criteria: ‘completeness of vision’ and ‘ability to execute’. The challengers in the survey have a higher than average score on the second criterion. Unlike Gartner’s broader definition of supply chain planning we have a full focus on stock keeping companies. I think it is because of this focus that we are able to get customers, wherever they’re based, up-and-running so rapidly.

Fast implementations

In the Gartner report, our domain expertise is mentioned as one of our main strengths, along with our excellent references and high levels of customer satisfaction. On the basis of conversations with our customers it came out that total cost of ownership and implementation times score better than average. While there is always scope for further improvement, for the areas in which we currently succeed, we deliver on time and for a good price.
