AEGIR-Marine has been committed to providing industry-leading service and top-quality products for over 20 years. To build upon its reputation as a fast and effective maritime service provider and supplier of spare parts for most major propulsion and stern seal systems, the business needed a dynamic supply chain planning platform to support continued growth.
The journey to better stock management
AEGIR-Marine assembles many items and complete sets of parts before distributing the finished products to the customer. Flawless availability is critical to prevent delays and bottlenecks. However, given long lead times and the variety of parts and components used across different vessels, the risk of stockouts is increasing.
As part of the project, AEGIR-Marine will implement Slimstock’s advanced supply chain planning platform, Slim4. Focused on unlocking working capital tied up in inventory and creating new growth opportunities, Slim4 will help the maritime service provider streamline its supply chain processes and increase the service levels on the parts and components that matter most to its customers.
