The Candidate will play a key role in client acquisition, profitable growth, and brand awareness of Slimstock within the region. Key to the SR’s success will be the ability to assess market potential and strategies for development; understand the best fit between Slimstock’s capabilities and the market opportunities, make suggestions to expand those capabilities where appropriate; identify and engage with clients’ key decision makers and influencers, and understand the decision-making process; build and steer the sales pipeline with drive and passion and be very hands-on in making sure that all aspects of client communication are top-class.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture client relations.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Articulate the value of the software to the prospects and showcase the capabilities of the company and solution.
  • Actively network in client industries/markets.
  • Map decision-making processes and decision-makers/influencers at key target clients.
  • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and broader business plan.
  • Maintain detailed awareness of competitors activity, products and pricing.
  • Represent Slimstock at conferences and events as and when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within a Sales Environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and closing B2B deals.
  • Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and sales capabilities.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Great understanding of the supply chain industry.
  • Track records of overachieving quota year over year.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
