Slim4 Implementation Consultant

Are you a recent graduate with a master’s in supply chain or have been working in forecasting, demand management, buying, or supply chain analysis in a distribution or manufacturing environment for several years and looking for a new challenge? Are you already a software implementor with supply chain or ERP knowledge?

We are looking for both new college graduates with Supply Chain degrees as well as individuals with experience in the industry.

Using our award-winning software solution, Slim4, we help customers to better manage their demand, forecasting, and inventory management processes. We are passionate about delivering a return on investment for our customers and are looking for an individual(s) who enjoys puzzles to assist our customers.

We want supply chain/distribution experts to work as consultants within our growing and dynamic team.

The ideal candidates will have a knowledge of demand planning and procurement processes within the supply chain/distribution sector and therefore will have experienced the challenges first-hand.

The main responsibility is to lead the new customer implementation process and deliver ongoing consulting / yearly reviews to existing and new customers to optimize their business processes.

Each project is normally 3 months. You will be part of a Chicago-based team of consultants. Each client implementation team has 2-4 projects going on at any one time.

Work will be mixed with as much as 25% of your time spent on-site with clients as well you will be at our local office in Deerfield IL, just off the Metra, 2 days or more a week when not traveling.

Quick ability to learn new software and processes, with the ability to communicate what you have learned to others both from a functional and operational perspective.

You have problem-solving and analysis skills, you can rely on organizational and people management skills, and have project management expertise.

You have an eye for detail and documentation.

You have strong, open, and direct communication skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Advanced Excel, or Power BI are desirable.

We will provide you the training on Slim4 as well as our implementation methodology.

Advise customers on supply chain processes, project management, implementation, and configuration of the Slim4 software solution. Key user training of operational and tactical employees.

Supply Chain / Implementation Consultant Role Includes:

• Grow into leading Slim4 implementations including managing the project plan and customer team.
• Leverage our project management tools for weekly project updates and status reports. This includes issue and change management tracking.
• Clear communication of implementation status, issues, risks, and effort.
• Understand customers’ requirements and apply Slim4 best practices.
• Establish and oversee the customer’s initial adoption, training, and development of best practices to build a strong foundation before and during the initial rollout.
• Provide customers with knowledge on performing advanced analysis of supply chain scenarios.
• Troubleshooting customer issues during implementation.
• Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how Slim4 can serve our customers better.
• Support the pre-sales and sales team as requested.

• College Degree or master’s in supply chain or similar industry expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL/Scripts/Procedures & Power BI is a plus but not required.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Responds promptly to customer needs. Solicits customer feedback to improve service.
• A willingness to travel domestically for customer project kickoffs and end-user training (up to 25%), passport requested for international projects/training.
• Position is in the Chicago area due to our US HQ office and travel needs.
